What
do
"Hi!
Thank you
for a fabulously fun and magical afternoon.
It was a wonderful way for families to spend time together.
The audience particpation really kept everyone involved,
and early arrivals appreciated the "pre-show" performance.
Did you see the Eagle Times? I hear there's a picture in today's
edition.
Thank you again!" C. Cox, Springfield Library.

"Stuart's magic
magnifies
a world upon which all of us love to gaze -
Where
something appears
from
nothing,
and the seemingly impossible
becomes
possible before our
eyes.
Stuart weaves the magic of
sleight-of-hand
with the
magic of storytelling, drawing us into a
world
that he sees so
vividly.
He
captures the imagination

MY REVIEW OF GIXEN,
A GREAT E-BAY (TM) TOOL
I finally got fed up with being sniped at the end of auctions, leaving myself open to shill bidding, worrying about getting to a computer or staying up to all hours for an auction to end, and trying to enter a last minute bid.
I
figured that if I couldn't beat them, I should join them, so I did.
After some research I found an online sniping service that is free, easy to use, and includes a number of useful services like being able to bid on a number of the same items at once. Actually, each bid will be seperate, you add as many of the same items you want to win (like Howdy Doody puppets or Sunbeam Mixmasters), along with the amount you want to pay, to your Gixen account and it will enter your bid about 6 seconds before the auction ends (ebay proxy bidding then takes effect) until you win one of the items, then the rest of your bids on the other items are canceled by Gixen. I really like this feature because I am generally looking for a specific item. I can enter all the items along with my bids into Gixen at once, which saves me from entering another bid individually on another of the same items after waiting to see if I won the first item. I don't have to go to the next one and going through the whole bidding process all over again-and again, if I don't win the next auction.
Add-ons to Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and I think Safari, do one click sniping on the item's auction page. I have used all of them, except for Safari, and they work superbly. You can find the scripts in the Gixen user forums.
The basic service is free, but they have an upgraded service with additional features and no ads on their pages for the incredibly low price (wait for it! drum roll) of $6.00 per year, which works out to $.50 per month. You can get the service for free by providing a link to Gixen on your own web site-like I am doing here.
